Why we're building a prep-station dashboard for Shopify merchants, and what you should expect from us over the next few months.
Why this, now
Most Shopify merchants that make physical things — bakeries, florists, wholesalers, CPG brands — still run the last mile of their operation on printouts, spreadsheets, and group chats. You can tell because the people on the floor are looking at paper, not screens.
We've lived that workflow. It breaks on Saturday mornings, during holidays, and anytime you add a second person to the prep line. Dashprep is the screen-based replacement.
What Dashprep does
The short version: orders come in from Shopify, line items split out to the stations that make them, each station sees a calm, up-to-date list of exactly what they own. Nothing more.
No inventory planning. No delivery routing. No CRM. Just the hour between checkout and shipped, done right.
What to expect
A few commitments we intend to keep:
- A public changelog. Every shipped change gets a dated entry. If you rely on something that's about to break, you'll read it here first.
- Honest pricing. Basic at $10/mo, Pro at $20/mo, enterprise conversations at /enterprise. No seat taxes. No "contact us" games.
- Fast replies. Email us and you'll get a human within a business day.
